You're prob right that it wouldn't have done much good.

I hope you can get a new account with the new site tho. Let me know how it works.

As far as where to put it on your blog. Well when Joel Comm was speaking at the Passive Income Opportunity seminar he mentioned the best placement for adsense and the best color format.

Placement wise he said never have them on the right hand side of your blog like on any of the sidebars and don't have them in the header section of your blog either. He said people already know that's where folks put their ads so they ignore them.

He said to get the best results with adsense you're going to want to put them a) within the content of your posts (I'm doing that but I have to figure out how to get it to line up better. I kinda want my post to wrap around the adsense, but gotta figure that one out. I probably need to do a table or some shit.) and b) have a horizontal one 700 or something by 15 above your posts but NOT as the headline or as the header.

I hope that made sense. I even started incorporating them like that on my gay marriage website and well I haven't done it for that long to really scope out the results yet. But I'll keep you updated as far as if this placement is getting better placement then the "norm" of placement. I hope that makes sense.

I actually never even emailed them.

I don't think it would have done much good. I was so pissed, though, because I was starting to make some extra cash with it. Oh well.

I think I can get a new account now that I have a new domain name, but I don't know where I would put the ads on my blog. Maybe I should try it out just to see.

Well that's really odd Steph. Did you email them and say WTF??? I know you had to have...what did they say?

I usually think that the suspicious activity thing means they think you're clicking the links on your blog yourself. I wonder why they thought that? That's fkd up.

So do you not have one now or do you? I think it's totally more profitable to get your own advertisers but it's like it's extra money ya know?

Hey Carey-

Speaking of Adsense.... they cancelled my account on my old blog for no apparent reason. I was making decent money with it, and one day I woke up and they sent me an email saying my account was closed because of suspicious activity. Or something like that.

Assholes.
